Mammoth was the vacation spot of my childhood - my mom threw beef jerky and cartoon mags at the four of us and pulled over if we fought too much! We went to June Mountain to fish in the summer, did backpack trips on horses up to the high lakes, and skiied in the winter.
This area is a wonderland of fun. Now bringing your pooch up requires some thought and planning.
